Cross Country to Host K-State/KU Dual Friday
The Wildcats are coming off a men’s third-place and women’s fourth-place team finish last week at the Bob Timmons Invitational in Lawrence, Kan. Impressive individual performances highlighted last weekend’s event, as freshman Lindsay Pierson finished third overall with a 6K time of 22:42.89. Pierson was the top Big 12 performer at the meet.
On the men’s side, sophomore Kory Cool led the Wildcats with a fifth-place finish at the Timmons Invitational. His time of 26:26.10 beat his previous-best mark at Rim Rock Farm by almost 45 seconds.
This week will prove to be a test for the Wildcats, as
Friday marks only the second time that K-State will run at Warner Park in recent years.
Results from the K-State/KU Dual will be posted at www.k-statesports.com as soon as they become available.
